Research Overview:
Computer and Multimedia technology are now becoming affordable and prevalent tool in performing and accomplishing critical needs of small and big businesses. Moreover, students who undergo tour guiding, front office and bartending tend to communicate and articulate their ideas creatively and effectively making these courses an must to undertake to be more competitive in their career. Substantial knowledge and skill in this technology will surely help the student contribute and excel in their respective company or business. Survey shows that this courses are rarely offered due to lack of experts and the cost of machineries are too restricted to small businesses. Based on our consultation and meeting with industry practitioners, the above mentioned training have have a lot of transferable skills that could be used in various career and work opportunities. Since the program was initially offered as a community based training to community representatives, the survey shows that this program are very much needed by members of the community pursuing projects for community development. The other programs were also appreciated by enterprising individual making them a catalyst of development that would surely bring development. A number of testimonials were also sum-up as saying that they wish the training to be brought and conducted locally and since the miscellaneous fees are restrictive, they wish the cost to be subsidize or sponsored by an AID agency. |
